About Me

I'm a Software Engineer who enjoys building things that actually work well and look good doing it. I graduated with a BS in Information Technology, specializing in Web and Mobile Development, from Bulacan State University. Since then, I've been focused on writing clean code, learning scalable patterns, and growing as a developer every day.

Right now at SparkSoft Solutions, I work on data-intensive enterprise applications. I build things like audit logging systems, notification frameworks, and complex dashboards using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Laravel. I care a lot about writing code that's not just functional but also easy to maintain and fast at scale.

Long term, I want to become a really strong full stack engineer and eventually build SaaS products that solve real problems. I'm always learning, always shipping, and always looking for the next thing to figure out.

  • Developed and maintained production-grade full-stack features for a government-level municipal engineering system, using TypeScript, React, Next.js on the frontend and Laravel-based REST APIs on the backend for integration.
  • Designed and implemented a system-wide audit logging solution using Laravel Auditing and a custom manual audit service to track and group user actions across 23+ project modules.
  • Refactored legacy frontend and backend codebases, and migrated 34+ JavaScript files to TypeScript, improving maintainability, type safety, and consistency.
  • Optimized Eloquent ORM and Query Builder queries and backend logic to reduce redundant operations and improve overall system performance.
  • Collaborated closely with a 5-person team including software engineers and QA engineer, with our project lead to deliver features aligned with business rules and government requirements.
